Dealing With Conflict

We experience conflict in all facets of life, community, home, school, work. Why? Because where there are people, there is conflict. Failure to manage conflict impacts productivity, affects relationships, destroys trust, and increases legal liabilities for an organization. Workshop leader Joyce Pattillo will give participants the opportunity to understand the fundamentals of resolving conflict, examine their personal style in responding to conflict, encourage collaborative problem solving, and learn tips for managing conflict.

Joyce received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff with majors in sociology and history. She earned a graduate certificate in conflict mediation at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. For more than 15 years, she has managed her consulting business, J Pat Consulting, where she consults with companies and provides training in conflict resolution, diversity and inclusion, and employee relations.
