Artist’s Laboratory Theatre is a community-based, site-specific theater in Fayetteville, Arkansas, dedicated to expanding the audience’s role in live theater. They stage original, handcrafted performances in surprising places that include their audiences in novel ways. From collaborating with community groups in their writing process, to engaging through interactive experiences during a live immersive performance, ALT aims to make their work a meaningful exchange with the community.

ALT believes storytelling is the vehicle through which movement and transformation can occur, and that theatre especially has the potential to cause awe, self-refection, social responsibility and inspiration.
