The first step is to develop drawing skills by using a variety of brain games, puzzles, and exercises. These first skills are essential to all other forms of art expression. The basics of drawing, shading, adding tones and definition are the first “steppingstones” into being able to paint. Once you learn the a, b, c’s of art, you can learn how to put them together to make “words” and then “sentences”. “Sentences” being the finished product with a period at the end!
Developing a critical eye is important to any artist. Together we review the work at the end of each session, take pictures to compare with the original photo if one is used, correct details to come up with a finished work of art!
