My goal as a teaching artist is to honor the artistic and creative needs of youth by harnessing the educational power of theatre to impact their lives: raising self-esteem, fostering better communication, and enhancing their creative potential. I am available to teach workshops including tableau, pantomime, performance skills, oral interpretation and dramatization of literature, history, and poetry as well as directing children for performance. I am available for short, long-term, and after-school residencies. I also enjoy collaborating with educators and resident artists to synthesize multi-faceted educational experiences.

Available to conduct teacher workshops.

I have been an advocate for arts in education through acting, teaching, directing and administrating for more than 20 years in all types of children’s theater. I have worked in schools, churches, and non-profits and am currently teaching acting classes at ETCNWA, a nonprofit school for the homeschool community and providing training and coaching for speech and debate tournament students.
I have taught acting classes, directed plays and musicals, developed and directed the first summer camp program for youth at the nonprofit Rogers Little Theater (Arkansas Public Theater) in Rogers, AR, where I also served as chairman of the KidWorks Theater Program, and later as chairman of Education Outreach.
