Background

Currently a hair and cloth 3D digital artist at DreamWorks Animation, my educational
background is in 3D animation. I received a BS in Visualization (focus in 3D animation) from
Texas A&M University and a MA in Visual Effects from Savannah College of Art and Design. I’ve
taken art classes since I was a child and took an art elective every chance I had in junior high
and high school. I currently live in El Dorado, working remotely for DreamWorks and playing
around with paint and resin.
My general approach to art education is that art can help teach creative problem solving skills
that are critical in all parts of every-day life. The arts also allow students to express themselves
freely in ways that they may otherwise never be able to. My residency focuses range from
traditional painting to mixed media crafts to animation.
