SoNA's interactive music education workshops have enriched and improved student development through programs in Northwest Arkansas' public schools and libraries, in line with state curriculum and Common Core standards. Workshops are available for students in kindergarten through 6th grades. An ensemble of SoNA musicians, consisting of brass, string, or woodwind quintet, along with a teaching artist, presents a variety of grade-level appropriate lessons using symphonic music, visual art, drama and literature. SoNA also provides performances by international guest artists to local (NWA) schools and community groups throughout the concert season.

Founded in 1954, the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas (SoNA) has provided 65 years of performances and educational programming. Under the musical direction of Paul Haas, SoNA presents classical and pops performances for symphonic music lovers throughout Northwest Arkansas. SoNA is a resident company of Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville.
