Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre

"O, much I fear some ill unlucky thing."

The warring families of Montague and Capulet put their feud before their children's happiness in Shakespeare's classic tale of "star-crossed" young love, reimagined for audiences of all ages in this one-hour adaptation. The Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre’s production of the classic romance Romeo and Juliet will move audiences of all ages.

Established through the University of Central Arkansas in 2006, the mission of Arkansas Shakespeare Theatre is to entertain, engage, and enrich the community by creating professional and accessible productions of Shakespeare and other works that promote educational opportunities, community involvement, and the highest artistic standards. In pursuing this mission, the company seeks to be a source of pride and an invaluable resource to the university, its community, and to Central Arkansas.
