Arkansas Symphony Orchestra

Arkansas Symphony Orchestra

Beginning its 52st season in 2017-2018, the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra under its Music Director Philip Mann is one of Arkansas’ most dynamic performing organizations. The ASO is the resident orchestra of Robinson Center Music Hall and performs more than thirty concerts each year through its Stella Boyle Smith Masterworks Series, ACXIOM Pops LIVE! Series and River Rhapsodies Chamber Series. In addition to serving Central Arkansas through numerous community outreach programs, the ASO players bring live symphonic music education to over 24,000 school children and over 200 schools.

The ASO's touring program "Music In Our Town" will suit your audience’s needs, with programs that include classical, pops, chamber and family concerts. The entire symphony is available for booking, as well as smaller groupings of ensembles to suit your venue. Players from the ASO can also provide educational programs through the "Arkansas Symphony Arts Partners" program.

Philip Mann, musician and performing artist, can specialize in masterworks repertoire, with additional interests in experimental collaborations, Historically Informed Performances (HIP) programs for families and students, and music of living composers.
