Guido Ritchie Project

Guido Ritchie began performing professionally at the age of 18. Influenced by a wide range of musical styles including R&B, Funk, and Rock and Roll, he discovered jazz and has focused the majority of his musical career on developing his voice within this idiom. As a professional, Guido has performed and/or opened shows for such legendary artists as Herbie Hancock, Wayne Shorter, Ron Carter, Clark Terry, Thelonious Monk, Jr., Tootie Heath, Bill Harris, Bob Dorough, Delfayeo Marsalis, Mose Allison, Charles Thomas, Edger Winter, The Four Tops, The Temptations, Oteil Burbridge & the Peacemakers, Bernie Worrell (Co-Founder of Parliment Funkadelic and Rock-n-Roll Hall of Famer) and Aquarium Rescue Unit. He also has been a featured performer in both the Hot Springs Jazz Festival and the Eureka Springs Jazz Festival. The Guido Ritchie Project is a quintet of dedicated jazz musicians who perform both jazz standards and original compositions.
