Mr. Cabbagehead and the Screaming Radishes

Mr. Cabbagehead and the Screaming Radishes

Mr. Cabbagehead and the Screaming Radishes are a uniquely audience focused, highly-energized redesign of roots influences, creating relevant, enduring Rock 'n Roll extensions of Stax, Motown, and Rhythm & Blues. Their rise to the southwest music scene began in a garage in 1984, when a group of “thirty-something” high school friends got together. This group is known for its unique and dynamic musical arrangements, showcasing a robust instrumental brass/woodwind/horn section working cohesively with one of the most aggressively talented rhythm sections in the country. This music ensemble has endeared themselves to audiences across the nation by their amusing, entertaining, and enjoyable approach, and unique ability to engage their audience's participation and involvement in their events and shows.

“The Cabbageheads” are available year-round for all occasions such as concerts, exhibitions, and events that would specifically benefit the public at-large through collaborative efforts with Non-Profit 501(c)3 organizations and presenters, academic institutions, and public workshops. Although the band performs at events year-round, much of their performance schedule in the spring, summer, and fall months books them at large indoor and outdoor venues encouraging large public audiences as a benefit to philanthropic organizations and charitable causes. On the “historic register of bucket list items to see and do,” Mr. Cabbagehead and the Screaming Radishes presents a "must see experience" for all age-groups and musical tastes.
