Pam Setser Band

Pam Setser Band

Pam Setser has been singing since she was five years old. She sang for years with her mother and dad as “The Simmons Family,” travelling all over Arkansas promoting Mountain View. At the age of 21, Pam moved to Hot Springs to be the lead female singer of “The Country Music Story.” She did this show for three years.

In 1984, Setser won 2nd runner-up in the National Wrangler Country Showdown talent contest held at the grand Ole Opry in Nashville. Pam has performed with Grandpa and Ramona Jones, The Whites, Joni Bishop, and actress/singer Mare Winningham, and has appeared on The Louisiana Hayride, You Can Be A Star, Nashville Now, Hee Haw, The Tonight Show, and recently on the HGTV feature Top Ten Christmas Towns, showcasing Caroling in the Caverns and Mountain View. In 2016 she was voted Musician of the Year at the Ozark Folk Center.

With such a strong background in music, you can imagine what an distinctive artist Pam is! She performs all kinds of music and plays mountain dulcimer, guitar, autoharp, and spoons. Kent and Beci Coffey, the other members of the trio, have been playing music for years, and joined the Pam Setser band in 2015. Kent is one of the finest guitar players around, and Beci is an outstanding bass player. Both instrumentalists add great vocal depth to the band.

Pam can perform with the best, and chooses to make her home in the beautiful Ozark mountains. The band can expand to five players if the presenter requests that.
