Papa Rap and the Latin Beats

Al "Papa Rap" Lopez, originally from Puerto Rico, is an award winning song writer (John Lennon Song Writing Contest) and a charismatic Latino performer, musician, writer, and inspirational motivational speaker.

His live stage show engages your audience with bilingual songs, fun drum playing, and Caribbean Salsa and Merengue dancing. Papa Rap’s show is completely interactive with the audience, as it sings and dances to his tunes—some even get to come up on stage to play some fun drums as they become part of his Latin Beat Band.

Papa Rap can perform in English, Spanish, or bilingually. His message goes from stories of student successes by making the right choices in life to examples of parent involvement in our schools and communities.

Papa Rap also loves to present to faculty members, PTA/PTO clubs, and partners in education, community service clubs, and corporations so he can share with them in a fun musical way strategies on how to embrace and create partnerships with newcomers by understanding and celebrating cultural differences and similarities.
