Rena Wren

Rena Wren is a singer/songwriter residing in Hot Springs. Her style? Audiences say she has “something for everyone” and refer to her music as Americana, indie-Pop, Coffeehouse, and Folk-Rock. Rena learned to sing in church at a very young age, and she grew up with music as a backdrop to her life. She now enjoys playing guitar, piano, djembe, banjo, harmonica, and her newest sound love, the ukulele.


In 2011, the Arkansas Arts Council awarded Rena an Individual Artist Fellowship for creative excellence in Music Composition, and she also was recently nominated for awards in the Folk and Songwriter genres for the Artists in Music Awards in Hollywood, California. Other highlights include winning the “Homegrown Song Contest” on The Jay Thomas Show on Sirius Radio and being included on the “Art of Noise” compilation album for rising artists. Rena has also had multiple TV and Internet commercial placements with songs from her “Sweet Mystery” CD, including a recent placement of “I Take It Back” on Comedy Central’s “Nathan For You.” Rena’s shows are always family-friendly and suitable for all ages.

Requirements: Artist prefers to utilize venue sound equipment, if available. She can supplement the venue's available equipment, or provide her own sound entirely. Sound costs are included in the quoted fee. Setup format will depend on nature of performance.
