Steven Michael Suter

Steven Michael Suter is a native New Orleanian and a member of a real New Orleans musical family. Continuing the legacy of his father and grandfather, Suter is an accomplished professional trombonist with over 30 years experience, having performed with the New Orleans Symphony Orchestra, the Tommy Dorsey Big Band, the Millar Brass Ensemble, the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, and the trombone funk rock group Bonerama. Suter performed with Bonerama on the 2007 “Comic Relief” benefit for HBO, and played in 2008 on “The Late Show” with David Letterman. Relocating to Arkansas after Hurricane Katrina, Suter currently is the programs and services counsel for the Muses Creative Artistry Project in Hot Springs. Suter specializes in tenor trombone performance and repertoire, jazz combo performance, jazz big band performance, and music business seminars.
