GetSmART! and Learn to Market Visual Arts

Come learn how best to market your artwork during the next GetSmART! workshop from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Department of Arkansas Heritage!

Cost to attend is $15 and includes lunch and snacks. Registrations and payments must be received by Nov. 15. Fill out a form online at Eventbrite!

Jaquita Ball will present “Marketing for Visual Artists: Tips, Tricks and Tactics” in Diamond Room Conference at 1100 North St. in Little Rock. Ball owns Red Cat Art in Bentonville, which is her full-time art studio that also provides consultations and curating services to area artists and businesses.

Ball will teach about “Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats” for marketing artwork during the workshop.

 

Ball worked several years as a news and courtroom artist, reporter and assistant promotion manager at Little Rock's KARK-TV, where she earned a national reputation when many of her court sketches of high profile cases aired nationally on NBC Nightly News.

Ball is owner of Red Cat Art, her full-time art studio that provides consultations and curating services to area artists and businesses.
