Symphony Orchestras

Symphony of Northwest Arkansas (SoNA)

In its 59th season, the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas (SoNA)--formerly North Arkansas Symphony--is available to present classical and pops programming and educational outreach opportunities throughout Northwest Arkansas.  Masterworks performances are held at SoNA's performance home, the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, AR. Newly named Music Director Paul Haas is a graduate of Yale University and The Juilliard School, and founder of SYMPHO, a concert production company in NYC.  Seventy-five musicians were selected in the fall of 2010 to be a part of the orchestra after open, blind auditions, drawing musicians from a 7-state area. The Ozarks Philharmonic Youth Orchestras, Inc. (OPYO) is an affiliate of SoNA.
