Folk/Bluegrass/Acoustic

Larkin Bryant-Cohan and Scott Odena

The mountain dulcimer is the focus of performances by Larkin Bryant-Cohen and Scott Odena. Both are former winners of the Southern Regional Dulcimer Championship at the Ozark Folk Center. Bryant-Cohen and Odena form one of the few duos to combine two mountain dulcimers with other instruments such as fiddle, autoharp, mandolin, banjo and guitar. Performing a wide variety of traditional music that ranges from fiddle tunes to ballads, and from tender love songs to somber spirituals, Bryant-Cohen and Odena tell the history of each song and encourage sing-alongs.
