Cowan's highly unusual, mixed media, deeply sensuous art has been featured in solo and group exhibitions, offered for sale in a dozen commercial galleries, and has won numerous awards and honors. Most recently, her work was included in the Governor Mansion 2009 Engagement Calendar and in the Celebrating Arkansas Artists exhibit in Senator Pryor's River Market office.
