Currently I am creating a series that focuses on "retired" fuel signs. The advent of solar and wind power contributes to the availability of old fuel-based signage for use as an art medium and allows the resulting art to speak about the end of an era.
"Old Flame" is the flame section of an old ARKLA Gas Company sign.
"Aloha Fossill Fuels" is an old Shell Oil Company sign.
