Retirement took me from Michigan to Arkansas, along the "Rocky Bayou" in the Mountain View area. Here the wildlife, water, woods, and bluffs feed the imagination. As a self-taught artist, my passion for painting, combined with a love of nature, has continued to "grow". Painting has no boundaries for me, as I enjoy watercolor, oil and acrylic, in the form of wildlife, scenery, seascapes, and portraits. My studio is a replica of the old "Herpel Post Office", complete with an antique sorting table that works well for my desk. Views from here might well end up in a painting. Being on the "Off the Beaten Path Studio Tour", as well as membership in Mountian Views Art Guild, and Mid-Southern Watercolorists, gives the opportunity to participate in functions with like minded people.
